01 · Talk

Templates for talking to camera

Half of TikTok is someone talking, and Soundbite Cut is made for that. Drop in a wide clip of yourself or an interview and it gets boxed in the middle of the vertical frame, over a blurred copy of itself. Then it's cut hard into a hook, a point, a reaction and a kicker.

Story Time suits a storytime told straight to camera. Either way your own sound plays under the template's music, and when you caption it, your words wear the template's caption style. More in talking-to-camera templates.

  • Soundbite Cut: boxed over a blur, pill captions
  • Story Time: set-up, what happened, the twist
  • Your clip's own sound stays in
  • Captions take the template's style

Edit and post

TikTok puts its buttons down the right side and its caption along the bottom. Tap the guides button above the preview and pick TikTok buttons, Shorts buttons or both. Voxcene draws them on the preview, so you can keep anything you care about out from underneath.

Then Export with the Vertical preset. Next steps writes a title, a description and five hashtags from your captions (1 AI credit), and the TikTok button copies them and opens the app. The Free plan exports at 720p with a watermark; Basic and Premium export clean at 1080p or higher. More on framing for each platform.

  • Title, description and hashtags written for you
  • One tap copies the caption and opens TikTok

FAQ

Questions people ask

Does Voxcene have TikTok templates?

Yes. Six of its ten video templates are vertical 9:16, TikTok's shape: Story Time, Hook Reel, Soundbite Cut, Before / After, Day In The Life and Tutorial Opener. Story Time and Hook Reel are free on every plan; the other four open on Basic and Premium.

Are these CapCut-style trending templates?

They're Voxcene's own formats, not copies of trending templates, and the app doesn't track trends. Each one is a full edit with cuts, music, transitions and titles, and you fill it with your own clips.

Can I use a template for a talking video?

Yes. Soundbite Cut is built for it: a wide talking clip is boxed in the middle of the frame over a blurred copy of itself, with pill captions once you caption it. Story Time works for storytimes told to camera. Your clip's own sound stays in.

Will TikTok's buttons cover my captions?

Not if you check first. The guides button above the preview (Where app buttons cover your video) shows TikTok's buttons on the preview, so you can keep captions and faces clear of them.

Can I post to TikTok straight from Voxcene?

Almost. After export the video is in your Photos; Next steps copies your caption and opens TikTok, so you only pick the video and paste. iOS doesn't let one app fill in another app's post.

Can I add a TikTok sound?

Not inside Voxcene, since there's no trending sound library. Each template has its own track. If you want a TikTok sound, post the video and add the sound in TikTok.

Start with Hook Reel, which is free on every plan.
