Video to video AI

Reimagine your own clip with AI

Genjutsu takes a clip you already shot and re-films it out of pictures you choose. Your movement, camera and timing stay as they were, while the scene, the people or one single thing in it can change.

01 · Everything Premium

Recast the scene

Shot a run through the park and want it on a rainy city street at night? Choose Everything. Genjutsu keeps how your clip moves (the action, the camera, the timing) and rebuilds the rest out of the pictures you add, such as the people, the wardrobe and the place.

Add a sentence to steer it, like the app's own example: “the same run, on a rainy Tokyo street at night”. Since the motion comes from footage you actually filmed, it moves like a real take rather than a guess.

  • Keeps the movement, camera and timing
  • Rebuilds everything else from your pictures
  • Up to six reference pictures
  • Words to steer it, if you want

02 · One thing Premium

Swap one thing

Sometimes the shot is right and one thing isn't. Choose One thing, add a picture of what should be there (a product, a jacket, a van) and say what it replaces, for example “replace the red car with the van in the picture”.

Everything else in the shot is left as you filmed it. If you leave the words empty, the app warns you, because without them the model can't know which part of the shot to change.

  • A character, an outfit, a product or a location
  • The rest of the shot stays untouched
  • Say what to replace
  • Show it with a picture

03 · In and out

What stays and what changes

There are three inputs. Your clip decides how the new one moves, and your pictures decide what it looks like. Your words point at what should change. The new clip shows up in your projects at the same length as the one you shot, ready to caption, cut and export.

Results vary from run to run, like any generated video. That's why the price is on the button before you start, and nothing is charged for a part that fails.

  • Your clip gives the motion
  • Your pictures give the look
  • Your words point at the change
  • The result is a project you can edit

04 · Length & price

Clip length, quality and price

Genjutsu is priced by the second, since that's how the work is billed: 20 AI credits a second at 480p and 30 at 720p, with part-seconds rounded up. Short clips cost less. A full 30 seconds at 720p is more than a month's Premium allowance, so trim to the moment that matters.

The new clip comes back without your original sound. Tick Add music for a bed written for it, or add your own in the editor.

  • Clips of 3 to 30 seconds

FAQ

Questions people ask

What is video-to-video AI?

It's AI that takes a video you already have and makes a new version of it, instead of starting from text or a still. In Voxcene that tool is Genjutsu. It keeps your clip's movement and timing and rebuilds the look from pictures you choose.

What's the difference between Recast the scene and Swap one thing?

Recast the scene keeps the movement, camera and timing of your clip and rebuilds everything else from your pictures. Swap one thing changes a single character, outfit, product or location and leaves the rest of the shot untouched.

How long can my clip be?

Between 3 and 30 seconds. Trim a longer video first in the editor, or pick a shorter take. The new clip is the same length as yours.

How much does AI video restyling cost?

Genjutsu is on the Premium plan and is priced by the second of your clip: 20 AI credits a second at 480p, 30 at 720p. A 10-second clip costs 200 or 300 credits; music adds 5. Premium includes 600 AI credits a month, and the exact price is on the button before you start.

Do I need reference pictures?

Yes, at least one, because the new shot is built from them. You can add up to six. For Swap one thing, also say what to replace, or the model won't know which part of the shot to change.

Does the new clip keep my sound?

No. It comes back without your clip's original sound. Tick Add music for a short instrumental bed, or add music or a voiceover in the editor afterwards.

What resolution is the result?

720p or 480p. You choose before you start, and 480p costs less. There's no 1080p option in this version.

Try it first on a short clip you like.
