Comparison

Short answer: pick CapCut for the biggest template library and desktop and web versions. Pick Edits for a free editor with 4K exports and no watermark. Pick Captions for AI dubbing with lip-sync. Pick Voxcene if you caption in Greek, or want your brand’s song and logo intro in the same app as your captions. We make Voxcene, so weigh that. Every fact about other apps below comes from their own pages or App Store listings, checked on 13 October 2026.

The comparison

Prices are from the Greek App Store and vary by country. “Not listed” means the company doesn’t say. It doesn’t mean the app can’t do it.

How to choose

  • You post trends on TikTok and want templates: CapCut. Its template and effects library is the largest here, and it also runs on desktop and the web. Businesses should read its music and template licence first; see our Voxcene vs CapCut guide.
  • You want free, and you post to Instagram: Edits. It’s free, exports in 4K with no watermark, and is available in Greek.
  • You need dubbing that moves the lips: Captions offers AI lip-dub on its paid plans, in 31 languages including Greek. See Voxcene vs Captions.
  • You edit on a laptop with a team: VEED is web-first, with an iPhone app alongside.
  • You want the lowest one-off price: InShot Pro has a €59.99 lifetime option.
  • You caption in Greek, or you’re building a brand: Voxcene handles Greek typography properly (tonos, final sigma, line breaks). It also puts a sung brand song, a logo intro and podcast editing in the same app. See Greek subtitles on iPhone and a jingle for your business.

Where others are ahead of us

Being honest helps you choose. CapCut has far more templates and runs on more devices. Captions does lip-synced dubbing and Voxcene doesn’t. Edits is free with no watermark. Every other app here has hundreds or thousands of ratings in Greece; we launched in 2026.
