Short answer: GreekSubsApp is a focused, low-cost tool that does one job: Greek subtitles on short videos (up to 5 minutes), with editing and export on your phone. It runs on iPhone, iPad and Android. Voxcene is a full video editor built around Greek captions. It takes longer videos (up to 90 minutes on Premium) and translates into 60+ languages. It also cuts fillers and silences, and adds colour, music and brand tools, on iPhone. If you only need subtitles on short clips, GreekSubsApp may be all you need. Choose GreekSubsApp if…

  • You only need Greek subtitles on short clips, and nothing else.
  • You want your video to stay on the phone for editing and export.
  • You’re on Android or iPad.
  • You want the lowest price for this one job.

Choose Voxcene if…

  • Your videos run longer than 5 minutes: interviews, lessons, talks, episodes.
  • You need other languages: translate the Greek captions to English (or 60+ others), or dub the video.
  • You want the whole edit in one place: clips, colour, music, cutting the «εε» and the pauses, then export.
  • You care about Greek typography: capitals without accents, title case that keeps them, a proper «ς», and lines that never end on «και» or «στη». See how to add Greek subtitles on iPhone.
  • You’re a business: a brand kit, a song sung for your brand (how it works) and a logo intro, all in the same app.
